The Trade Show: Your "One-Stop" Shopping Experience

In the economic times in which the United States finds itself today, it is more important than ever for government officials to get the most value out of each conference. Each year, the IACREOT Trade Show offers election officials from the United States and abroad an opportunity to shop for the most current and advanced election technology in one convenient location.

If you are responsible for the administration of elections in your jurisdiction and are looking to buy new equipment, upgrade existing equipment or just looking for new ideas, come to the Trade Show. Each booth gives you direct access to vendors and hands-on demonstrations.

The IACREOT Trade Show opens with a Grand Opening Get Acquainted Hour for delegates to interact with exhibitors. This allows participants to view all booths prior to the next day’s activities. The connection created here between the vendor and the consumer can and has continued for months following the close of the Conference.

The Annual Conference and Trade Show also offers delegates several educational opportunities for continuing education certificates for division-specific seminars and graduation credits for hours in the Chancellor’s Certificate in Public Administration Program, with the University of Missouri, St. Louis.

The International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers (IACREOT) was founded in 1971 by a small group of government officials who wanted more than they were getting from their previous association.  They wanted more opportunities to network with their fellow professionals, and as a result they created an organization in which elected and appointed officials, and their staffs, could share ideas and work together to effect change at all levels of government.

Today, IACREOT has more than 1,500 members, who represent all levels of government. International members include election officials from Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Australia, Nigeria, Albania, the Philippines and the Virgin Islands.  IACREOT provides members with professional resources, enabling election officials to serve their respective jurisdictions with the highest degree of competence and professionalism.
